Excuse me if this post is somewhat incoherant, as its past my bedtime!
Over the past few days, I have updated this site with a ton of new goodies. I’m working on getting the neat Flash MP3 player to work (think: Bad Religion, AC/DC, Rage Agains The Machine, Biggie, etc.) so I can have some kick ass music playing.
I’ve also added a link to my LinkedIn.com profile. If you would like to network, let me know. I’m always interested in making new contacts in the industry. I’ve also started a photo gallery on the site. Right now, I only have about 300 pictures up, and 150 of those being completely and utterly crappy shots. I’ll filter the crap shots out over the next week or so.
I’ve also posted two product reviews that have been published and a tutorial for Magento site admins.
Now, onto the more interested stuff…
Over the next few weeks, I’m planning on creating a lightbar for my car. After talking with Matt, I decided to go with two driving lights and two fog lights. Sure, I already have fog lights on my car… but I like how my car looks with fog light covers on, so I’m willing to shell out some quid to get some new fog lights.
I’m going to borrow the design from a fellow 2.5 RS’er, however, I plan on setting the driving lights just above the headlights and the fog lights just below the headlights.

I don’t know what it is, but I can’t stop listening to this song by Bad Religion. I’ve always been a huge fan of Bad Religion for the fact that their lyrics are deep, very deep. This one song by them called “Shattered Faith” is just fantastic.
Click here to listen to it on YouTube. Below are the lyrics.
The scientist purported that there aint no purpose
And the theologian told me that its all been designed
And Im trying to maintain objectivity
The world wont illuminate what really matters
And Im an imperfect moral meaning extractor
Processing the complexity
Born of the earth (are we blind? )
We werent given a choice (theres no way)
What about free will? (what we have)
Do we have a voice? (is shattered faith)
See them run in place (here and now)
In the human rat race (no reward)
So much dead weight (no debate) to our disgrace (accept your fate)
Life begins when you accept your fate
Paralysis from forces raging out of control until
My confidence and will are at an all-time low
Just directionless wandering
Eternal life, eternal truth, eternal secrets
Isolated hopes and hypotheses just
Leave me feeling so hungry
Born of the earth (are we blind? )
We werent given a choice (theres no way)
What about free will? (what we have)
Do we have a voice? (is shattered faith)
See them run in place (here and now)
In the human rat race (no reward)
So much dead weight (no debate) to our disgrace (accept your fate)
Life begins when you accept your fate
Right or wrong,
The main criterion is what you do and not what you say
The roads you take, the friends you make and those you throw away
The method is a simple synthesis of the past and present state
You never lose if the path you choose is one you can easily navigate
I had a dream, light and carefree
But now theres doubt and gravity
But I wont run in place (are we blind? ) in the human rat race (theres no way)
I can set the pace (what we have) and accept my fate (is shattered faith)
Shattered faith (here and now)
Shattered faith (no reward)
The part of me (no debate) I cant erase (accept your fate)

STPR was a blast! With the exception of being miserably hot, dusty, and over crowded, it was a success. With rallying being introduced into the X-Games, it seems like rallying in the States is finally taking off.
This year was the introduction of a super special stage at STPR. It was pretty cool to see cars trek around in the dust for a minute and 40 seconds. I can’t wait ’till next year to see it again!
We got news that BOTH 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI’s were OUT. Both had CATASTROPHIC REAR END SUSPENSION FAILURE. Ken Block was out after that. However, I guess Travis’ car was repaired… just in time for him to roll it.

Today was my last day at InfoGenius. To be honest, it was a pleasant, but tiring 2 1/2 years. Being it was my first job after college, I learned a lot of how the business world works. However, it was my time to move onto something that peaks my interest more.
Starting Monday, I’ll be the new website content technician and graphics designer at OK4WD. I’m pretty stoked about the position. Considering I am a huge rally geek, this is right up my alley. It will be an interesting transition, from a business type environment to a more social friendly environment surrounded with automotive enthusiast who share the same passion/borderline obsession.
This weekend I’ll be up in Wellsboro, PA at STPR. I’ll be sure to take a ton of pictures and videos!
